The Busy Flash Memory Summit

Today (Thursday 13 August) is the last day of the Flash Memory Summit in Santa Clara. I spent the last two days there and I tell you it was a jumpin’ place.
Attendees overflowed out into the hallways at a number of the presentations at the well organized event. It has been a while since I have seen a large number of booths on an exhibit floor with eight or ten people crowding around asking questions, but that was the situation last night.
The Summit is fairly small, with only 47 exhibitors. This smaller, friendlier size show, with 40 to 120 people at a given technical session and perhaps a thousand at the keynote speeches, may be growing in popularity with engineers.
I here-by declare the recession over.
